How do I clean a silipint?

Silipints are dishwasher safe and will not warp, scratch or chip like plastic and glass.  Never clean with abrasive soaps or scouring pads.  Simply, soak in hot soapy water and rinse, or let the machine do the job. 

Do silipints come sterilized?

Silipints are washed after curing to remove any machine and factory residue. Silicone has a high heat resistance and can be boiled or put in the dishwasher to further sterilize.

Does liquid easily spill out a silipint?

Liquid can spill out like any beverage container when tipped off-balance. The exterior surface has traction so that it doesn't slip in your hands.  When pouring or drinking, excessive force should not be used to grab or squeeze it, or else, yes, the beverage may spill. An 8 or 12 oz. drink fits great in this 16 oz. pint.

Do you test your products?

Quality control inspections are made both overseas and in the USA to ensure our products follow all FDA standards, rules and regulations, as well as maintain design uniformity and optimal product quality.

Where are your products made?

Silipint products are designed in Bend, Oregon and manufactured in China.  Our products are ethically produced in China in factories that are both ISO 9001 and 12001 compliant for environmental and labor practices, and we have company representatives visit our operations regularly.

What is silicone?

The element silicon exists in common sand and rock. Silicone belongs to a class of synthetic rubbers created from silicon and oxygen. It is regarded for its durability, long life and tolerance of temperature extremes. Silicone makers employ a number of proprietary manufacturing processes including high-temperature compression and injection molding.
